Ricoh G5S Printhead/Ricoh MH5220 Printhead Description:
The Ricoh G5s printhead, also called the Ricoh MH5220 printhead, is an industrial printhead released by Ricoh in May 2016.
The main functions of Ricoh G5s printhead include:
1. Configured with 1,280 nozzles in 4 x 320 nozzles, the print head achieves high resolution without the grainy appearance of ink dots and is capable of printing at 1,200 dpi resolution in a staggered configuration of multiple print heads.
2. The multi-ink drop function can create various ink drop sizes from 2.5 to 9pl, and the pattern fineness completely exceeds the Epson printhead.
(Note that with multi-drop technology, droplets are ejected in rapid succession and then merge in flight before reaching the media surface).
3. Stainless steel structure, durable and long service life.
4. Built-in heater, capable of spraying high-viscosity ink.
5. Compatible with UV durable ink for label printing.
6. It can work 24 hours a day without interruption, 20 hours a day, and can be used for about 3-4 years, which is 3 times longer than the service life of similar printheads.
7. 5 gray-scale piezoelectric printheads, variable ink droplet printing, meeting the image density requirements, making the printed image clear-cut, uniform in color, and saving 30% of ink.
